What I've actually built.

Airtone tracks your hand through a webcam using MediaPipe's hand-landmark model, then maps its position in the air to musical pitch in real time — the closest thing to playing a theremin with software instead of an antenna.

A second layer comes from MediaPipe's face-landmark model: the shape of your mouth drives a second voice, so you're effectively playing two instruments at once — one with your hand, one with your face.

It's a working prototype, not a finished instrument. Hand tracking gets shaky at the edges of the frame, and there's no proper audio mixing yet. I'm adding demo clips to the repo as I clean it up.

The first version of this site leaned on templated animations and stock portfolio patterns — gradient text, particle backgrounds, a grid of "coming soon" project cards. This version is hand-written HTML and CSS with no framework, built around content that actually exists instead of filler.
